About

Deeply and proudly Midwestern, Elizabeth Sheck-Lambert was born in Wichita, Kansas. She spent much of her life growing up around St. Louis, Missouri and has a soft spot for the deep-running ancestral duty of worshiping nostalgia, railroads, rivers, back roads, and sunflowers.

After receiving her BFA from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2016, she traveled to Savannah, Georgia, where she received her MFA in Jewelry at Savannah College of Art and Design. While she very much is Not In Kansas Anymore, she is continually refining and focusing her expression of the duties and importance of Homeland, Family, and the Lineage of Making. Elizabeth is an artist of many mediums, primarily focusing on jewelry, written word, fibers, photography, and baking.

She has returned to the Midwest, now living again in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lives with her husband Jon, their children Quinn, Margaery, Orange Spots, Talbot, Muffin, and Violet (cat, cat, cat, dog, cat, dog, if you must know).

She teaches at Lewis and Clark Community College and Saint Charles Community College.
